Are natural Aveda salons really better for your hair/scalp than regular salons?

I mean especially to a person with already thinning hair or a sensitive scalp? Would it make a difference to pay extra and go to a more natural salon, or not really? Are natural Aveda salons really better for your hair/scalp than regular salons?
Aveda salons have natural products and are really good for your skin and hair. The sensitivity may still be an issue, however. I would definately do an allergy test before you use any products. Good luck.
