Why do they want to keep the good hairstyling products out of the stores? They just want salons to be able?

to sell the good stuff that actually is good for your hair, or actually works. I would love to be able to buy the same things at my local drug store, or grocery store and not have to pay the high overhead that salons get.Why do they want to keep the good hairstyling products out of the stores? As a licensed stylist I can tell you they don't sell everything over the counter because the companies want to be sure that customers know exactly how to use the product. If you purchase it at a salon a stylist can tell you how to use it. A worker at Target isn't a licensed professional and can not tell you what to do. Please know that we have to pay higher prices for professional products too. We don't just buy it cheap and raise the price. Why do they want to keep the good hairstyling products out of the stores? I know same! I hate it i'm always trying to look for good salon products and they sell it no where. :(
