34 years as a pro.We use Redken Exteme Pack under the dryer for 10 min.Go to a salon and buy a deep conditioning TREATMENTS.Shampoo hair, towel dry, APPLY CONDITIONER,PUT A PLASTIC SHOWER CAP ,or plastic wrap, and go sit in the sun ( or hold a blow dryer) on your head and then rinse.FOLLOW MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS !!What kind (brands) of conditioners do salons use for deep conditioning treatments ?
it differs for each stylist

i use a mix of redken extreme condtioner and ion spray on conditioner

you put it up in a cap and sit under a dryer for 20 mins then rince with cool water and use a leave in Condtioner
one of the best products out there for a total hair makeover is Pureology Volcanic hair mask- it heats up when exposed to air and when you put in in your hair you wait i think about 5 min then rinse- afterwards - whoa mama- you will feel sleek- incredibly shiny hair that lasts for at least two weeks or more- it is only recommended for a bi weekly use- i use it once a month and it brings back the color i had put in almost 6 weeks ago- i alwasy use this 4 weeks in before my hair sarts getting dull and lifeless-
Don't they use Redken?

Not sure about that... =/
I like to use a bit of olive oil and sit with a shower cap on in the bath or shower for about 15-20 minutes and rinse it out.. It's cheap and I can do it at home.... Or VO5 hot oil treatment works well...
The best deep conditioning treatment I've had at a salon was with Redken All Soft Heavy Cream. My stylist simply followed the directions on the bottle, which say to dispense as much cream as needed into the hair after shampooing/conditioning, and leave it on for atleast 5 minutes. After that, you rinse it out, and Voila! It works wonders.
