I want to get highlights in my hair next month, are there any good salons that are affordable for this?

I know that it is pretty expensive to get them done, but I'd like to know how expensive, and does going to a more expensive place garuntee you a better job as opposed to a cheaper place? It depends were you live there is a place in N.Y it's called Rosa's.It's in Roosevelt ave.If you get highights there they are about 50 bucks.
